Our client, a well-established secondary school in Wandsworth, Greater London, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced KS3 English Lead to join their dedicated team of educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the KS3 English curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all students.As the KS3 English Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the English department's strategy and vision, working closely with the Head of Department and other subject leaders to create a cohesive and engaging curriculum. You will be expected to lead by example, delivering outstanding lessons that inspire and motivate students to develop a love for the English language and literature.The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in English, coupled with a proven track record of successfully leading a team of teachers. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to foster a collaborative and supportive working environment. A deep understanding of the KS3 English curriculum and assessment requirements is essential, as is a commitment to ongoing professional development.In return for your dedication and expertise, our client offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per year (MPS/UPS plus a TLR), along with a range of attractive benefits.
