Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking for a Transport Shift Leader to work within a busy Transport Department based in Slough.Position details: Permanent, 12 hr shifts, 4 on/4 off rotating pattern (days and nights). Hours: 6.30am–6.30pm, 6.30pm–6.30am.Salary: Basic £38,000 + Variable cost of living bonus (£1.5k per annum). Overtime available.Duties of the Transport Shift LeaderSupervisory responsibility for a team of employed / agency / subcontract LGV drivers.Ensure your team always adheres to company policy, especially Health and Safety.Ensure your team always adheres to license compliance and transport regulations, especially driver's hours/WTD and AWD regulations.Skills of the Transport Shift LeaderCustomer serviceAbility to lead and manage staff under your controlAbility to work professionally with other departmentsAbility to allocate resources effectivelyAbility to think and delegate efficiently under pressure to cater for fluctuation in work volumes (important)Ability to identify non-conformance and complete/report investigationsCost effective fuel management and best transport operating practicesComputer literate (especially with Outlook and Excel) #J-18808-Ljbffr
