Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary Settings
Location: Primary schools across Burton
Role Type: Full-time / Part-time flexible

Are you an experienced, qualified HLTA looking to make a real impact in primary schools across Burton? We are seeking reliable, enthusiastic practitioners to support teaching and learning across a variety of primary settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality teaching and learning support under the guidance of class teachers

Leading small group interventions and supporting individuals to achieve their potential

Planning and preparing resources to support curriculum delivery

Supporting whole-class teaching when necessary, including cover for absent teachers

Assisting with assessment and record-keeping of pupil progress

Supporting behaviour management in line with school policies

Working closely with teachers, senior leaders, and parents to ensure consistent learning outcomes

We are looking for someone who:

Holds HLTA status or equivalent recognised qualification

Has recent experience in primary school settings

Is confident delivering lessons and interventions across KS1 and KS2

Has excellent communication and organisational skills

Is enthusiastic, flexible, and passionate about supporting children's learning and development

Can work independently and as part of a team
