Contract Performance Management Lead - Property and Facilities This role will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of a number of key, strategic contracts within the Property and FM category and the supplier relationships that support them. Working with colleagues from across the Bank, the role holder will ensure that the benefits, outcomes and services level originally expected from the contract are delivered through its term. Responsibilities include: The day‑to‑day commercial management of a portfolio of strategic contracts within the Property and FM area and ensuring all deliverables, outcomes, service levels and benefits are received by the Bank to the level and timescales set out in the contracts. Jointly managing the supplier relationships with strategic suppliers and using the Bank's existing Supplier Management tools and SRM Best Practice to maximise value. Managing any supplier dispute processes or complex negotiations that may be relevant to your business area. Liaising with peers in the business areas and the supplier to deliver continuous improvement for each of the contracts, using innovation and market trends. Influencing stakeholders to promote and implement the internal procurement policy and supplier management standards. Supporting the development of commercial competencies through engagement, training and aligning expertise. Assisting with the development of long‑term category strategies. Embedding effective risk management through implementing risk controls. Driving sustainability in the category in collaboration with Subject Matter Specialists. Identifying and maintaining metrics to show performance and service improvement. Aligning with the Commercial function’s efficient use of eProcurement systems. Knowledge, Skills and Experience required Minimum Criteria: Consistent and significant proven track record of managing a complex set of contracts, suppliers and stakeholders to achieve commercial optimisation across a fixed timeline. Experience in undertaking and successfully concluding difficult commercial conversations with both internal stakeholders and external parties. Extensive knowledge of the Property and FM Market, including current and emerging contracting models and trends, and experience of working with relevant contract standards such as NEC3. Experience of working within a Public Contract Regulations 2015 controlled environment. Essential Criteria: Strong stakeholder management skills and assertiveness, with ability to challenge. Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport and constructive relationships. Demonstrable influencing skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present and communicate clearly and succinctly at all levels. Self‑motivation, with the ability to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team. Desirable Criteria: MCIPS qualification (or equivalent commercial experience). Location Leeds, United Kingdom Salary and Benefits Information The salary on offer is circa £60,000 – £70,000. In addition, the Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package: Non‑contributory, career average pension. A discretionary performance award. An 8% benefits allowance. 26 days' annual leave with option to buy up to 12 additional days. Private medical insurance and income protection. National Security Vetting Process Employment in this role will be subject to the National Security Vetting clearance process (typically 6 to 12 weeks post‑offer) and to additional Bank security checks.
