The schools caters to students with needs such as disruptive behaviour, ADHD and Autism. As a SEMH English Teacher you will be working with students, which may include outdoor activities and many ways of teaching and supporting children. As well as being a key figure in their lives, our teachers always look for fun and unique ways to be engaging in the classroom The schools we work with are looking for a Teacher that can fill day to day, short term, and long term placements. They provide an abundance of experience, which can allow you to grow as a teacher while being paid at market leading rates. We have experienced and dedicated SEND Consultants choosing placements that suit your availability, preference and skills. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status/QTS, 6 months previous SEND experienceA calming and caring personaFlexible and able to cover classes last minute to cover for staff sickness or trainingLessons will often be pre-planned, however, ideally capable of planning your own lesson activities and resourcesAdapting tasks to meet the needs of individual childrenEffective behaviour management skillsEffective communication with members of internal staff In return for the above you can expect to receive: A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding processGuaranteed Payment Scheme Terms and conditions applyCPD Courses and certificates as part of the My-Progression channelMarket leading rates of payTeacherActive Referral Scheme- Receive up to £200 when you refer a friend Terms and Conditions apply All our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance, and there s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard-earned cash.
