Through our events, creative initiatives and mentoring programmes, we connect creative makers and thinkers from across sectors, encouraging them to share their stories and skills.We help creative people connect and thrive by:Building and connecting communities through our events programmeDriving growth and finding pathways to learning and skills developmentAdvocating for creativity locally, nationally and internationallySupporting professional development and the well-being of our membersWho are we looking for?We are seeking a strategic and creative Edinburgh-based professional with strong programme management experience in the creative, cultural or education sectors.You will lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of Edinburgh’s Creative Industries: Pathways to Careers, a new three-year pilot programme supporting recent creative graduates to launch and sustain freelance careers in Edinburgh.You’ll work closely with local universities, colleges, the City of Edinburgh Council, and industry partners to co-design a high-impact programme of mentoring, events, and workshops. This role is vital to building meaningful pathways into Edinburgh’s creative economy and helping early-career creatives thrive.What will you be doing?Design and deliver a tailored, graduate-focused pilot programme in partnership with local education and industry partnersRecruit and support participants, and establish a cohort of Creative Talent AmbassadorsDeliver a mix of in-person, hybrid and online learning, mentoring and networking opportunitiesBuild sustainable relationships across higher education, government, and the creative industriesAct as Creative Edinburgh’s lead representative for the project at sector events and forumsDevelop budgets, funding proposals, evaluations, and impact reportsFoster cross-sector learning and champion the voice of early-career creatives in EdinburghApplications open on Monday, 2 June, and close at 23:59 on Sunday, 29 June 2025..Please submit a cover letter (one page maximum) explaining why you are interested in the role and how your experience aligns with our aims, along with your CV (two pages maximum) using this form .We would appreciate it if you could also complete the Equal Opportunity Monitoring Form once you've submitted your application.
