As part of our dynamic team, you’ll be responsible for hands-on care of small animals, providing both routine and emergency healthcare at Portland House Veterinary Group.By late 2025 we will have moved into a brand-new purpose-built hospital with 6 consult rooms, 3 theatres, a separate dental suite and more. Our main site in Retford has state-of-the-art equipment including a digital X-ray system, dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and a full internal lab.ResponsibilitiesHands-on care of small animals, including consultations and routine surgeriesClient liaison and managing treatment plansContribute to a positive and collaborative team environmentWhat we’re looking forExceptional Veterinary Surgeon with post-graduate experience, decision-making skills and a compassionate natureSupportive team environment; you will not be alone as the team will be with youThis is a full-time position; flexible options may be discussedIdeally, 40 hours per week over 5 days; reduced hours/days possibleAll full-time vets work 8:30am to 6pm when our OOH service kicks inWork patternRole is full-time with potential flexible arrangements.
