Do you have experience working within an electrical engineering, electrical test, inspection, assembly, service or on-site support role?
Does the thought of working within a customer-facing role offering international travel excite you?
If so, then this could well be the role that you are looking for.
You will be joining a leading manufacturer of a range of niche instrumentation for specialised applications as a Test, Service and Installation Engineer and be part of their test, service and installation team based from their head office in East Grinstead, West Sussex.
You will be expected to travel internationally 25-50% of the time. Duties will include:
- Final test of instruments post-production including both electrical and mechanical inspection
- Overall performance of the instruments and software
- Performing on-site installation, training, and customer demonstrations on delivered instruments
- On-site and back to base maintenance
- Emergency service
- Hardware and software upgrades
- Providing both telephone and email technical support to customers
You will be qualified to HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have at least 2 years of commercial experience working within an electrical test, inspection, assembly, service engineering or on-site support capacity. You should have a good understanding of electrical systems and be looking for a customer-facing role with the opportunity to travel.
All candidates will receive 3-6 months of product training, must possess a full UK driving licence as well as a current passport, and be willing to travel when overseas is required.
