Year 5 Teacher - About the Role
As the Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and engaging curriculum that inspires curiosity, confidence, and independence. You will play a key role in preparing pupils for the transition into upper Key Stage 2 and beyond.

Year 5 Teacher - Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a range of learning needs.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Track pupil progress and use assessment to inform teaching.
* Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school through events, trips, or extra-curricular activities.

Year 5 Teacher - About You
We are seeking a teacher who brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.

Year 5 Teacher - Essential:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5.
* Strong behaviour management and a nurturing classroom approach.
* A drive to raise attainment and inspire high expectations.

Year 5 Teacher - Desirable:
* Experience with Year 5 curriculum demands (e.g., upper KS2 writing, fractions/decimals/percentages, reading comprehension).
* Willingness to take on extra responsibilities or middle leadership opportunities.
