If so, we have an interesting opportunity to join our small schemes team based in our south division as a Project Engineer.What you'll doAs a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for both reactive and planned capital maintenance projects across a diverse range of sites, including water recycling, water production, sewerage and water distribution.The value of projects varies typically between around £15,000 to £200,000 and will be based in the south area covering Christchurch, Warminster, Charmouth and everywhere in between.Projects can include planned pumping station upgrades, reactive primary settlement tank half bridge centre bearing and slip ring repairs, emergency wastewater treatment side streams, and adding additional carbon GAC treatment for water production.Your role will involve:optioneering, contracts, tendering, spend forecasting, project delivery, commissioning, authoring payments and project closedownsworking closely with our contractorsensuring that all health and safety and other statutory regulations that may affect the construction process are adhered toensuring the delivery process accords with our policiesensuring company and departmental targets are metassisting in the establishment of budgets and approvals.What you'll needIdeally, you will be from a construction and/or water industry background with experience in project management and working closely with external contractors.
