We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to work on a £13 million project in South London - the project is a highways scheme and will including resurfacing, kerbing, paving, drainage, footways, roads and public realm. You will be supported by a Senior Engineer on the job. Duties Core site engineering responsibilities, including precise setting out of works using engineering drawings, specifications, and control points. Deliver key elements of external civil works, such as pavement construction, road surfacing, kerb laying, and drainage installation, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory standards. Operating Leica TS16 Total Station and GPS surveying equipment for accurate spatial data capture and layout, supporting high-precision construction. Coordinate daily operations with subcontractors and site teams. Manage the full project cycle of assigned tasks from site setup to final handover and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Interpret and implement technical drawings, method statements, and risk assessments, contributing to safe and efficient on‑site execution. Person Specification Experience as a Setting out engineer. Must have worked on civils / highways schemes. HNC/HND/Degree in civil engineering would be beneficial.
