Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer. Location: Crawley, Surrey. Salary / Benefits: £24k – £38k + Training + Benefits Our client is a nationally recognised and professional Water Treatment / Legionella Management company who are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment Engineer in the South East region. You will be working on High Security, Food & Beverage, Healthcare and Heavy Industry sites and will be responsible for performing cooling tower cleans and disinfections, servicing of CLO2 units, and closed system sampling, analysis, and dosing. Experience & Qualifications Working hands on as a Water Treatment Engineer for a reputable provider of Legionella Management services. Able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Excellent IT skills, able to update onsite logbooks. Able to communicate effectively. Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise workload in line with company / client needs. The Role Carrying out cooling tower cleans and disinfections. LTHW & CHW system sampling and analysis. CLO2 unit servicing. Dosing closed systems with correct chemicals upon completion of analysis. Flushing of little used outlets. TMV inspecting, servicing, installing and replacing. Failsafe testing. Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring. Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Attending a mixed portfolio of longstanding client sites, ensuring to represent the company professionally. Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
