We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join Octavius, supporting schemes in Somerset. Octavius is a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK. Visibility on site is essential. The successful candidate will be required to work full‑time on site. Responsibilities Robust commercial management of projects – overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes, and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports. Work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitments. Own a project and collaborate closely with the other site’s commercial team to identify efficiencies. About You Experience in a Quantity Surveying role, supporting senior QS professionals. General knowledge of monitoring cost performance of projects and contract administration. Evidence of working in a team and building effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
