Position 26.5 hours per week, £32,412 per annum (FTE £48,925) working 8am to 5pm. Schedule: Week 1 – Mon/Tues/Weds; Week 2 – Thurs/Fri/Sat. Responsibilities Adhere to local policies and procedures whilst working within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct. Accurately document consultation notes in a timely fashion to allow for suitable clinical guidance and intervention. Recognise opportunities for providing health education during the consultation process. Refer to Clinical Service Delivery Manager, peers or colleagues as necessary for advice, whilst maintaining accountability and responsibility. Demonstrate the ability to remain professionally focused on service delivery whilst dealing with an unpredictable, diverse and challenging workload. Qualifications, Training and Experience Current registration with NMC as a Nurse with no investigations/suspensions current or pending. Previous experience of clinical autonomy. Able to demonstrate Continuous Professional Development. Experience and Knowledge Minimum 3 years post qualification as a nurse. Evidence of consolidating post qualification practice. Primary and Acute Secondary Care Experience. Experience within a prison secure establishment would be an advantage. Basic I.T. skills. Ability to speak fluent English. Full driving licence. Smart, professional appearance and conduct. Skills and Abilities Ability to work actively within a team, but to work without supervision whenever necessary. Ability to identify and correct signs and symptoms of a deteriorating patient. Clear and concise communication skills, in particular when interacting with patients and third parties. Ability to influence a clinical situation. Attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately. Ability to make appropriate and informed decisions quickly.
