Senior Insurance and FS Recruitment Consultant Looking for someone ideally from a HNW / Private client background. Sales Proactive generation of new business appointments and sales to realise individual new business targets. Self‑monitoring of individual sales activity to ensure all avenues are maximised. Track and monitor activity, monitoring conversion rates for leads, appointments, quotes and sales. Generate and support target‑market focus projects across the company. Adhere to and support new and existing sales incentives across the company, including cross‑selling, networking and referrals. Customer Services Ensure customer service levels are implemented and maintained to a high standard, with at least 90% client satisfaction. Limit complaints to no more than 1% per month. Maintain telephone response times in accordance with specified parameters. Deal with all complaints within one working day per FCA requirements; unresolved issues are passed to the compliance manager immediately. Account Management Fully meet insurance and risk management needs of clients and the team. Deliver comprehensive market presentations and ensure the best premium and cover options for clients. Provide timely, FCA‑compliant information on all insurance matters and present recommendations accurately. Follow established administration processes to produce and distribute correct documentation. Accurately document all client interactions on both manual and IT systems, keeping files current. Ensure all renewals are processed within FCA guidelines. Encourage long‑term relationships, targeting a minimum renewal retention rate of 90%. Act promptly on mid‑term adjustments. Maintain NTU below 10% in any single month. Administration Competently handle general office duties including post, photocopying, phone filtering, filing and scanning. Respond to enquiries from clients, colleagues, insurers and third parties via telephone, email and in person. Keep client files accurate and updated, creating and checking daily Auto Processes. Produce and distribute accurate documentation for new business, renewals and mid‑term adjustments following established processes. Complete accounting functions promptly, including record keeping, credit control and daily back‑office readings. Process cheques, cash and credit‑card payments daily in line with FCA guidelines. Accurately process finance over riders. Ensure timely commission payments by third parties. Personal Development Keep the Team Leader informed of work progress as required. Maintain knowledge of client industries, businesses and risks. Develop and maintain market knowledge. Pursue or achieve the Certificate in Insurance. Complete and submit monthly CPD sheets to the Team Leader. Accounting, Finance & Office Navigate and maintain manual and IT systems for processing, accounting and administration, recommending improvements where applicable. Re‑enforce timely payment of all premiums per company procedures. Monitor premium dues and bad debt, minimising levels to avoid credit control referrals. Maintain open communication with accounts to resolve queries within specified timeframes. Monitor proper use of commissions. Communicate potential marketing and advertising expenditure to the Team Leader. Adhere to Health and Safety processes per company procedures. Communicate all claim notifications immediately to the Claims department. Assist in developing and implementing process improvements for the team and company. Provide flexibility and support to the business, undertaking tasks requested by management. FCA & Compliance Ensure all activities and interactions comply with FCA regulations, guidelines and best practices. Stay updated on FCA rule changes, ensuring internal policy adherence. Consistently meet regulatory standards related to your work. Identify and report potential FCA breaches or risks, supporting remediation efforts. Maintain strong understanding of the FCA Handbook, including Consumer Duty, TCF, SM&CR and Individual Conduct Rules.
