Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst

Job Description Our client is known for providing a range of high‑quality asbestos services to a mixed portfolio of clients throughout the UK. They are recruiting an experienced, versatile and skilled Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Manchester area. The successful postholder will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and have experience in both analytical and surveying duties. Applications from Blackburn, Lancaster, Oldham, Huddersfield and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience Attainment of the P402, P403 and P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualification. Previous experience working in asbestos surveying and air‑testing within the asbestos industry. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package. Full familiarity with asbestos health and safety procedures. Responsibilities Carrying out asbestos 4‑stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re‑occupation and personal air testing. Managing refurbishment/demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial sites. Overseeing contractors on site to ensure they carry out the work in accordance with asbestos health & safety procedures. Producing comprehensive asbestos reports.Liaising with clients on a regular basis. Overall, the successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with a positive work ethic.
