Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in journalism, communications, or politics. Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams. Experience in content production, communications, events marketing and journalism. Preferred qualifications MBA or an advanced degree. Experience in developing authentic relationships and partnerships, with a significant contact 'book'. Ability to identify, understand, and engage with a broad range of topics and subject matter experts. Ability to lead operational initiatives while writing and translating issues into simple, compelling language. Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, project management, and organizational skills. About the job As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward. As a part of the EMEA Events and Experiences, the Editorial team works on the most important tent-pole moments in the region to help set the agenda on thought leadership and engage the people who matter most to Google in EMEA. As an Editorial Producer within Google's Marketing team, you will be a key driver in shaping and delivering impactful content for Google's most high-profile events and engagements globally, with a specific focus on the EMEA region. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening the Google brand, particularly around AI and other key initiatives. This role requires an experienced curious storyteller with a background in content production, journalism, events, or communications, who excels at managing projects in a changing environment. Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for high-profile thought leadership events, including the region’s tentpole moments alongside other key client and partner engagements. Contribute to the development of event agendas development and speaker acquisition for major events, identifying and booking engaging internal and external speakers, thought leaders, and high-profile individuals. Demonstrate an authentic curiosity about the world and seeking to hear from, and identify, the most authoritative and credible voices who talk to the most pressing issues. Develop a variety of content assets, including executive briefs, speaking remarks, scripts, videos, and case studies, to bring narratives to life. Manage relationships with key external leaders, fostering connections with the Google brand and strengthening partnerships around Google's values, ideas, and products. Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status. We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements. See also Google's EEO Policy and EEO is the Law.
