Electrical Project Manager Location: GuildfordSalary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Travel PackageCompany: Established M&E Contractor (50+ Years in Business | £65m Turnover) Overview We are representing a long-standing and reputable M&E contractor with over 50 years of industry experience and an annual turnover of approximately £65 million. The business continues to deliver high-quality projects across the UK and now requires an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a new development in Guildford. The project is a care home scheme, and the successful candidate will manage electrical delivery from pre-construction through to handover, working closely with the client, consultants, and internal delivery teams. Role Responsibilities Manage the electrical package from early design engagement through to completion Lead project planning, procurement, coordination and delivery activities Oversee subcontractors and site teams, ensuring quality and compliance Liaise with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact Monitor programme progress, cost control and project reporting Ensure all works meet health, safety and industry standards Support design reviews, technical queries, and value engineering exercises Attend progress meetings and prepare regular status reports Experience & Requirements Previous experience delivering electrical packages for an M&E contractor Strong understanding of installation standards, testing and compliance Proven ability to manage projects through full life cycle Experience working in live or sensitive environments (care, healthcare, education, or similar) beneficial Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills Ability to problem-solve, plan ahead and maintain strong client relationships Package & Benefits £70,000 - £75,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) Travel package included Established employer with long-term pipeline and strong market presence Career stability and development opportunities This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager seeking a stable and well-supported role with a respected contractor delivering a meaningful, high-quality project.
