B1 Licensed Engineer – Manchester Airport Company: STS Aviation Services Location: Manchester Airport, England, United Kingdom Employment type: Full time (immediate openings) Note: Applicants MUST be citizens of the United Kingdom or have valid work authorization for the UK with at least two years remaining before expiration. About the Role We are recruiting B1 Licensed Engineers to join our Manchester Site. Both permanent and contract positions are available. Ideal candidates should have experience with the following type ratings: Boeing 777 – Required Airbus A319, A320, A321, A330 – Plus Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of customer aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Certify maintenance within the scope of company approvals. Provide leadership and supervision to aircraft mechanics and support staff, ensuring high standards of maintenance execution. Ensure timely and efficient maintenance activities, meeting on-time performance and technical dispatch reliability to exceed customer expectations. Skills And Experience Part 66 CAA License, B1/B2 (essential). Current CAA 777 Type Certification. Previous experience in Base Maintenance. Must be adaptable to a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with changing requirements. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Full UK Driving License (essential). Proficiency in MS Office applications.
