Junior Graphic Designer We are recruiting for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Design team in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. You will work alongside the Design Lead and Senior Designers, creating engaging print and digital designs for clients and our internal brand. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver challenging projects to tight timescales. Application Deadline: 11 December 2025 Department: [SBSS] Design Location: Bristol Compensation: Up to £27,000 / year Hybrid working: 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home What you’ll be responsible for Support the design team covering a range of disciplines from print to digital across small to large projects, including Social Media Graphics, Email Graphics, GIFs, Small Website Graphics, Desktop Backgrounds and Infographics. Produce highly creative and conceptual designs in line with the brief, ensuring they meet specifications and brand guidelines. Contribute creative input when involved in new projects, concepts and proposals, supporting the team’s strategic deliverables. Ensure quality and execution of work to meet the brief, project specifications and brand guidelines. Attend virtual meetings and design briefings on time and in a professional manner, ensuring clear understanding of client requirements. Take ownership of work to ensure all deliverables meet deadlines and high standards. Stay up-to-date with creative technologies and industry trends, incorporating new techniques and tools. What you’ll need Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field. Well‑versed in Adobe Creative Suite with sound knowledge of print processes. Keen to learn User Experience, User Interface Design and/or Motion Design. Strong understanding of the full design process from concept to finalisation. A passionate team player, idea‑driven with the capability to deliver concepts with pride and passion. Some experience in digital design and social media campaigns is desirable. Strong eye for creative layout and typography. Comfortable receiving creative critique, working under pressure and asking for assistance when needed. Experience working with brands and adhering to brand guidelines. Problem‑solving mindset and ability to handle a variety of tasks. High attention to detail and visual problem‑solving skills. Confidence in presenting your own design work. Self‑motivated and takes ownership of work. Our Benefits Hybrid working – 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
