Procurement Advisor

Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Procurement Advisor to join our Procurement team at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough on a fixed term basis for 9 months. The team is hybrid working, travelling to the office in Middlesbrough for catch ups and meetings typically 1-2 days per week. Responsibilities You’ll be providing administrative support to the Procurement team by running quotations/ tenders as well as supporting more complex tenders being led by other team members. You will be using In-tend daily, managing supplier access, ensuring tender documentation is uploaded and quality questions are entered as well as administering contract information.We are looking for someone who has a 'can do' attitude and a positive approach to problem solving as things don't always run as smoothly as we would like. We are a small team who all have vital roles in ensuring the procurement service is delivered therefore you will be able to work well in a team environment with great communication skills both verbal and written. You'll have great communication skills. You should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, have experience in completing data analysis and creating required formulas to manage data and compare. You will be able to quickly pick up or have some previous experience with software-based systems (preferably financial systems and e-Procurement tender portals). Why Thirteen Group?
