Job Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full‑time Band 6 Women’s Health Hub Development Manager to support the role out of the Women’s Health Hub in North Wales. Main Responsibilities Work as part of the multi‑disciplinary team, supporting and leading specific areas such as Recruitment, Service Model Design and Development, and contributing to other work streams and projects focused on the development of a Women’s Health Hub. Lead the development and implementation of a Recruitment Plan for North Wales, working with colleagues within and external to the Health Board to promote opportunities and vacancies. Identify and procure the necessary tools to ensure the success of the Recruitment Plan. Create and maintain content for various social media platforms, and represent the Hub at conferences and recruitment fairs. Work with the Women’s Health Planning Group to deliver a range of workstreams supporting the Women’s Health Hub. Plan, support, facilitate and monitor the progress of programmes of work including short‑term projects, service improvements or change‑management initiatives. Ensure that all policies and procedures required for service improvements and developments are developed and that organisational policies are adhered to. Qualifications & Experience Essential Criteria Educated to degree level or relevant equivalent experience; significant relevant management experience with postgraduate training or qualification to at least diploma level. Proven technical and managerial experience. Evidence of continuing professional development. Highly computer‑literate: MS Office, patient database and computer‑based performance management tools. Senior clinical and/or managerial experience. Experience of leading business planning/monitoring processes. Experience of performance management, NHS / Social Services information management and delivering on relevant performance indicator targets. Experience of producing robust and convincing business cases. Experience of proactively managing revenue and capital budgets, and managing NHS income. Evidence of driving and supporting service change. Sound knowledge of strategic objective setting. Leadership skills and the ability to influence direct reports and senior staff effectively. Knowledge of Health & Safety and Complaints legislation. Desirable Criteria Experience in delivering service redesign using analytical tools to analyse demand, capacity and activity. Experience of delivering complex project management tasks spanning multiple organisational boundaries. Experience of leading complex change‑management processes and understanding of the current national and local mental health policy context. Demonstrated knowledge of new and emerging initiatives in mental health services. Ability to develop and extend collaborative partnerships with external organisations. Ability to provide high‑level input into specific projects. Ability to develop long‑term service improvement plans. Aptitude and Abilities Essential Criteria Excellent communication skills. Highly numerate. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities. Lead project‑management responsibility for time‑sensitive complex assignments. Analyse and translate complex information for diverse audiences, presenting it in a range of formats. Strong leadership and managerial skills commanding respect from senior staff and line management reports. Interpret local priorities and set service objectives aligned with those agendas. Negotiate effectively with a wide range of partners with tact and persuasion. Work across organisational boundaries on complex projects. Effective planning and organisational skills. Work independently with minimal supervision. Operate within both operational and strategic management roles. Foster and develop effective team working across services and organisations. Communicate sensitive information to multidisciplinary staff. Negotiate cooperation from a range of staff disciplines. Desirable Criteria Ability to develop and extend collaborative partnerships with external organisations. Ability to provide high‑level input into specific projects.
