Healthcare Assistant – Level 3 (Health and Social Care) – Dialysis Assistant Be among the first 25 applicants. We are seeking a helpful, tactful and meticulous individual to join our clinic as a Dialysis Assistant in Neath Port Talbot Dialysis Unit. The role involves working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team. Responsibilities Look after individual patients, preparing dialysis equipment for treatment, monitoring vital signs and assessing, cleaning and redressing catheter sites. Liaise with patients, their relatives and other visitors to the clinic. Ensure equipment is kept clean and supplies are well stocked, stored and used efficiently. Keep documentation up‑to‑date. Administer medication when required. Working Hours This is a full‑time role of 37.5 hours per week. Current days are working various shifts between 06.30am to 17.30pm Monday to Saturday. Qualifications Healthcare Assistant with a Level 3 Health and Social Care specific qualification (NVQ, Apprenticeship, Diploma) or equivalent experience. Offer Training and Development: On joining, you will enroll in our 8‑week Fundamental Dialysis Programme accredited by the European Dialysis and Transplant Nurses Association, with ongoing training and education opportunities. Salary: Competitive salary up to £28,250, with progression through the pay scale under a Knowledge and Skills Framework.
