Responsibilities Partner with business and data teams to understand data requirements, define data ownership, and ensure governance policies are effectively applied. Implement and support data governance and data quality initiatives, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards. Develop and maintain a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Manage and maintain metadata to enhance data discoverability, consistency and accuracy. Conduct data validation and data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to governance standards. Execute a diverse array of data‑driven projects, including agile delivery, requirements gathering, data analysis, stakeholder management, governance and compliance. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years' experience in a consulting firm and/or financial services background, with evidence of effective stakeholder management. Experience across various stages of end‑to‑end analytics/AI transformation or large‑scale deployment/technology implementation programmes. Passionate about data with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and leverage the latest tools and technologies to create innovative, data‑focused solutions. Strong storytelling and presentation skills, simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences. Technical & Analytical Skills Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices, including data stewardship, lineage, metadata management and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in data management and governance tools such as Informatica, Collibra or Talend; understanding of SQL. Familiarity with project governance tools such as JIRA, EPIC and User Story backlog. Practical experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe. Presentation and storytelling skills to communicate technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences. Additional Requirements for Senior Consultant Exposure to regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, BCBS 239, Solvency II) and their impact on data governance strategies. Experience in records management and data privacy frameworks. Demonstrated experience in people management or product owner/workstream management. Experience supporting and participating in the commercial cycle, including scope definition and budget agreement.
