We welcome like-minded candidates eager to contribute to this important work and develop their careers.The NDA File Handler role involves working within a team of fraud specialists and legal support staff. The File Handler will manage a caseload of Litigated RTA suspected fraud files for various insurance clients, working closely with claims handlers without Delegated Authority. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Lead Lawyer to achieve optimal results in a commercially sound manner. The role requires following defined processes and applying a forensic, analytical approach to evidence, with a high level of commercial awareness. Decision-making within set timeframes, aligned with case strategy and client interests, is essential.The NDA File Handler will work strategically to ensure all litigation opportunities are maximized, shaping the future of counter-fraud efforts. The caseload includes various suspected fraudulent claims such as:Bogus PassengerStaged/ContrivedFraudulent ExaggerationInduced accidentsLow Speed ImpactLate Notification ClaimsCredit Hire FraudMIBLinked & Organised CrimeKey ResponsibilitiesThe role involves managing fraud cases from litigation to resolution, including:Strategic ExcellenceReviewing and analyzing evidence throughout each caseSetting and agreeing on case strategies with clients, following strategies set by Lead Lawyer and Technical LeadsAdhering to all process stagesIdentifying litigation opportunities and complex casesRecognizing client trends and opportunities to enhance client relationshipsClient ExcellenceManaging files according to client guidelines independentlyMaximizing client satisfactionCompleting all internal and client reporting accurately and promptlyMeeting KPIs for clients and internal standardsTechnical ExcellenceReporting to insurers throughout the claim processCoordinating investigations to meet strategic goalsMeeting procedural and investigative deadlinesAchieving optimal litigation results, including advocacy when appropriateProactively managing case investigations and strategy from receipt to resolutionDelegating tasks effectively to assistantsMaintaining accurate case management recordsFollowing file management policies and SRA regulationsFinancial ExcellenceWorking efficiently to ensure profitabilityAchieving financial targets and timely billingCultural ExcellenceUpholding company valuesWorking Hours35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with 1 unpaid lunch hour. The primary location is Bolton, Parklands Office.
