The production operative (forklift driver) will join our factory in Bedford, MK45 3JE and contribute to this vision. Location Bedford, MK45 3JE, Bedford, England, United Kingdom Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the role and prioritize your own workload. Operate mobile plant as required. Adhere to health & safety, quality and environmental systems. Deliver through process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement. Assist with production when required. Create and maintain the highest standards of 5S housekeeping and environmental management. Assist in developing SSOPs and risk assessments when required. Essential Qualifications & Experience Certified counterbalance forklift driver. Excellent time‑keeping, attendance and flexibility. Self‑motivated and numerate & literate. Team‑working attitude and ability to work alone. Excellent communication skills. High degree of health & safety awareness. Willingness to undergo further training and development. Previous labour‑intensive role. Desirable Qualifications & Experience Experience working in a continuous improvement environment. Training & development experience. Training & Development Multi‑functional operation, possibly cross departmental. 5S principles. Localised health and safety procedures. Localised environmental and quality responsibilities.
