Person Specification Qualifications & Training Essential RN ODP Completion of Preceptorship Mentorship qualification Ensure registration with the relevant professional body is maintained and to practice within the professional codes of conduct of that body. Clinical Skills & Experience Essential 24 months post registration experience in theatre Recent acute clinical experience in an acute Trust Basic IT skills. Well-developed verbal & written communication skills. Ability to develop working relationships with others. Time management and personal organisation skills. Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively. Good interpersonal skills. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. Desirable Evidence of facilitating learning in practice Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development Previous experience at Band 5 within specialty. Ability to work on own initiative Personal & Professional Attributes Essential Delivery of evidence-based practice. Demonstrates patient focused approach. Calm under pressure Governance Essential Aware of the Trusts Vision/Mission and Values Current understanding of key issues facing the NHS Upholds and models the Trust values. Clinical Governance.
