Cook / Housekeeper (Part‑time) – Moore House Academy, Bathgate. Part‑time, 30 Hours Per Week, Term Time. Pay: £12.60 per hour. Job Description We are looking for an experienced Cook / Housekeeper to work with our team supporting young people and helping them feel safe and cared for. You will be based in our Academy in Bathgate, assisting young people aged between 10 and 16 with meal preparation, cooking, baking and housekeeping duties. The role requires a commitment to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals for young people and staff. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, eating areas and accommodation spaces. Teach young people valuable life skills such as cooking and baking. Support the team in delivering a positive, educational environment. Qualifications & Experience Good experience of cooking and meal preparation. Experience of cleaning and domestic/industrial maintenance. Sound working knowledge and experience of interacting with children and young people. Preferred: 1 year experience as a cook.
