Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, we are driven by our values — joyful, bold, inclusive, resilient and determined — and a vision of an inclusive world where every young person can achieve their aspirations.Location: Godstone, SurreySalary: £27,764 per annumHours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (52 weeks per year)Contract: PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking an empathetic and proactive Student Support and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our dedicated Student Support team.In this vital role, you will provide pastoral and wellbeing support to students across the College, helping them to build resilience, confidence and self‑coping strategies. You will coordinate individual and group wellbeing sessions, deliver interventions to promote positive behaviour and contribute to a whole‑college approach to wellbeing. You’ll also work closely with our Student Recruitment Team and SENCo to support new learners through the assessment and transition process, ensuring every student receives the right level of care and guidance from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one‑to‑one and small group wellbeing support sessions for learners.Support students experiencing emotional distress, anxiety or behavioural challenges.Work collaboratively with staff, therapists and families to deliver person‑centred support.Contribute to the development of individual learner support passports and wellbeing plans.Coordinate wellbeing initiatives, including learner‑led forums and enrichment activities.Support learner transition activities such as taster and enrolment days.Maintain accurate wellbeing records and monitor the impact of interventions.Help plan and deliver staff training related to student wellbeing and mental health awareness.About YouYou’ll be an empathetic and confident communicator, able to build trusting relationships with learners, staff and families.
