Energy Advisor

About the role Our client is an established charity committed to increasing sustainability and reducing inequalities in the home, particularly in households who are experiencing barriers to affordable warmth. Responsibilities Visit people in their own homes and support them through energy-related challenges including paying bills, debt reduction and providing advice on how to lower their bills whilst keeping their households warm. Attend community events where you will provide practical advice to a range of individuals, many of whom are vulnerable. Requirements / Qualifications Location: South Gloucestershire (role located there) and understanding knowledge of the local community. Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. Display compassion and empathy; useful to have knowledge of the energy sector and providers, though this is not essential. Good working knowledge of Microsoft and databases for completing administration after home visits. Enhanced DBS check required; paid for by the organisation. Remuneration and working arrangements Roles offered on a full and part-time basis. All expenses paid; overtime can be taken in lieu. Full job descriptions provided after an initial screening.
