Audit Assistant Manager – Glasgow or Edinburgh AAB is a leading professional services firm providing audit, accounting, tax, payroll and HR, outsourcing and advisory solutions globally from our UK offices. Location Scotland – Glasgow or Edinburgh Key Responsibilities Support the management and development of a portfolio of clients and provide assistance within the firm. Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Ensure the firm’s quality control procedures and professional standards are met. Provide an efficient and pro‑active service to clients. Participate in tenders/proposals for new work as required. Develop work from existing clients and participate in wider marketing and business development activities. Pay attention to self‑development and continuing professional education. Consult with colleagues and Partners on technical and risk matters. Work as a team player whilst being able to work on own initiative. Experience and Skill Set Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent experience. Experience supporting the management and development of a client portfolio. Experience coaching and mentoring colleagues. Required Attributes Great social skills and confidence with clients. A knack for overcoming challenges to maintain strong business relations. Attention to detail, adept with numbers, and a knack for following processes within legislative guidelines.
