Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst

Our client, a global asset management firm, is seeking to recruit a Portfolio Analyst to join the Global Fixed Income investment team. The purpose of this role is to support Portfolio Managers with the active management of Global Fixed Income portfolios.The successful candidate will interact closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders to ensure timely and accurate execution of investment strategies across client portfolios. The role will support with the day-to-day portfolio management activities including rebalancing portfolios, market price movements, managing cash positions, monitoring risk and analysing performance.Candidate Requirements:3-6 years of relevant work experience gained in a similar roleDemonstrate sound working knowledge of fixed income marketsStrong academic backgroundExcellent quantitative and numerical skills, with extensive knowledge of ExcelExperience using Python or VBA would be beneficialProfessional qualifications such as CFA will be hugely advantageousAbility to work well under pressureTeam player who enjoys working in a collegiate environmentMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
