This is a pivotal senior role where you’ll drive the site’s technical strategy, ensure compliance with the highest food safety standards, and create a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.What You’ll DoAs Site Technical Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operation ensuring that every product leaving our site meets our customers’ exacting standards. You’ll: * Lead and inspire the Quality Assurance (QA) and Hygiene teams, developing talent through coaching, clear objectives, and succession planning. * Be an integral part of the site senior leadership team, helping shape and deliver the site’s quality and operational strategy. * Ensure full compliance with food safety legislation, customer codes of practice, and industry standards (including BRCGS, Red Tractor, and retailer standards). * Oversee and lead third-party audits, customer visits, and ensure robust HACCP and TACCP systems are in place. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Operations, and Group Technical teams to maintain the highest standards of raw material and product quality. * Manage and report against key performance indicators (KPIs), driving continuous improvement through data-led analysis and root-cause investigations. * Champion a proactive quality culture across site — making food safety everyone’s responsibility.What You’ll BringWe’re looking for a confident leader who combines technical expertise with strong people and communication skills.
