Temporary Ongoing Administrator

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an all‑round Administrator ideally from a manufacturing business. Due to ongoing business needs, they are seeking an adaptable and proactive individual to join us on a temporary, ongoing basis. The Role We are looking for a flexible and highly organised Administrator to provide day‑to‑day support to the Directors and the wider business. This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same, and the successful candidate must be comfortable turning their hand to a broad range of administrative and customer‑facing tasks. Providing administrative support directly to the Director Managing holiday and absence schedules Assisting with Health & Safety processes, documentation, and training coordination ensuring all records are up to date and line managers chased to ensure their team are up to date with any training required by law. Supporting with shared email inboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses Handling incoming calls in a confident and professional manner Speaking with clients, identifying their needs, and finding effective solutions Updating internal systems, maintaining compliance documents, and general data entry Supporting team members across the business as required Completing general office administration including filing, correspondence, and follow‑up tasks Helping with ad‑hoc duties to support smooth daily operations About You We’re looking for someone who is: Flexible and adaptable – able to multitask and support across all areas of the business Proactive and hands‑on with a positive approach to problem‑solving Highly organised with strong attention to detail A confident communicator with a professional telephone manner Comfortable speaking with clients and resolving queries effectively Experienced in working within a manufacturing environment (ideal but not essential) Competent in Microsoft Office and general IT systems Able to work well under pressure and prioritise a busy workload Available to start immediately What they offer Immediate start Supportive, friendly, small business environment A varied, interesting role where you’ll gain experience across multiple functions Opportunity to develop new skills Ongoing temporary assignment with potential for extension In return Weekly paid via Elite Holiday pay once accrued Pension PAYE no umbrella company Free tea and coffee If this is you apply now to sue@elitep.co.uk We will need a copy of your UK rights to work if you apply for this role which will be kept on file if we proceed with your application.
