Join Us as a Room Leader at Banana Moon Day Nurseries At Banana Moon, we are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our children. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Room Leader to join our dynamic team and support the growth and development of our little learners. Your Role: Lead your room effectively and create a positive learning atmosphere. Plan and implement a curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Work collaboratively with your team to deliver high-quality care and education. Maintain a strong partnership with parents and guardians through regular communication and updates. Ensure that all activities are safe and stimulating, encouraging children to explore, play, and learn. Support the staff in their professional development, mentoring them and providing guidance as necessary. Adhere to nursery policies and procedures and ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations. Develop relationships with children that help them feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. What We Are Looking For: A full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent). Experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally in a leadership role. Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues. Passion for working with young children and helping them develop and grow. Knowledge of safeguarding practices and health and safety regulations. Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate your team.
