Take ownership, make an impact, and thrive in our scaling and agile environment.This is a Hybrid role, the Engineering team work from our London (Shoreditch) Offices 2-3 days per week.What You’ll Be DoingAs a Lead Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving technical excellence across multiple teams while remaining hands-on in software development. You’ll lead high-impact projects from concept to delivery, shape architecture, and align technical direction with business strategy. Working closely with Tech Leads, Product Managers and the wider Engineering Group, you’ll set the standard for quality, mentor engineers across teams and champion initiatives that raise the engineering bar including the adoption of AI tools and automation.Provide mentorship, constructive feedback and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvementMotivate the team, remove blockers, and track performance to ensure accountabilityWork closely with Product, QA, and Tech Leads to align on strategy and executionShape product decisions alongside Product Managers and DesignersEnsure clear, open communication in remote, hybrid, and in-person settingsEstablish and uphold coding standards and best practicesIdentify and mitigate risks, addressing challenges proactivelyStay hands-on in software development, guiding engineers at a technical levelWork with Tech Leads to ensure alignment on technical direction and innovationProven experience managing and developing software engineersExtensive commercial experience with C#/.Net/.Net Core/ReactExperience with RESTful API design and Azure cloud development (cloud-first approach)Proficient in SQL and Test-Driven Development (TDD)Strong technical background in modern software development practices and scalable system architectureAbility to manage cross-functional projects, collaborating effectively with Product, QA, and other stakeholdersDiversity & InclusionWe welcome, consider and encourage applications from anyone who shares our commitment to inclusivity.
