Geotechnical Engineers / Engineering Geologists - All LevelsRaeburn Drilling & Geotechnical Ltd, part of the Igne Group of companies, are seeking to recruit experienced Geotechnical Engineers / Engineering Geologists – All Levels to join their successful and expanding team in Aberdeen & Glasgow. You will be responsible for managing large, complex ground investigation projects and have the expertise to write first class interpretative reports. It will be expected that you bring a significant amount of experience in ground investigation and if at Senior level be chartered or actively working towards it.There will be ample scope for the successful candidates to learn new skills to further their career.The company is committed to the professional development of all of its employees and offers in-house and external training leading to professional qualifications.If you want to join an innovative, fast paced and dedicated team who are making a difference, we would love to hear from you.Key responsibilities:Site investigation contract supervision / management (of drilling rigs and personnel) and liaising with clientsSoil and rock logging to current guidelinesTrial pitting worksIn-situ testingEnvironmental groundwater / gas monitoring and samplingTimely submission of site information, such as: drilling records, weekly timesheets etcHealth and safety responsibilities in connection with preparing site-specific working practice documentation, site inductions and ensuring site operative welfare and safety.The following are requirements for this position:Bachelor or Masters’ degree in a related subject (Geotechnical Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology and Environmental Science or related discipline)Previous experience in contract management of ground investigation projectsExcellent written and oral communication skills and reporting abilitiesAbility to work as part of a teamFull driving licence (travel is required)If you want to join an innovative, fast paced and dedicated team who are making a difference, we would love to hear from you.Salary & Benefits:£commensurate with experience, generous benefits & overtime availableContinuous training and developmentIn return, we can offer you an exciting career in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial company.We are Igne Group Limited, a synergetic amalgamation of six companies, renowned within our respective fields, with over 350 years of combined experience.
