ResponsibilitiesSet the level expected for software delivery within the team, leading by exampleServe as expert in area of responsibility, identifies process improvements and problem prevention, and advises department and management of relevant information as appropriateProvides analysis and solutions to technical and business issuesUnderstand and apply technology and corporate vision setting direction on implementationMaintain awareness of business and technology strategies and implements technical alternatives and strategies to gain competitive advantageMaintains the complex technical infrastructure of assigned area to meet the business requirementsProvides technical solutions to business problems, technical leadership and direction to managementRemain current on technical and professional advances and business strategies regarding area of responsibilityQualificationsBachelor’s Degree required in Computer Science, Engineering or related majorsMinimum of 5+ years’ applied experience as an API engineerStrong experience in API designing and creating architectural artefacts such as gap analysis, low level designs, data models etc.More than 4 years of engineering background in back-end microservices application development, application security and authentication development, cache and middlewareMore than 5+ years’ experience programming in Java and ideally Go and RustExpertise in JVM tuning and diagnostic for application troubleshooting and performance-optimizationExperience working with Kafka, Docker, k8s, service meshExperience with monitoring and observability technologies: Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, Kiali, Open Telemetry #J-18808-Ljbffr
