Sheffield, United Kingdom Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Overview A vacancy at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). The Rotherham Early Intervention Team is recruiting a support worker to work with people who have experienced or are at risk of a first episode of psychosis. We operate in the community, offering care and treatment as part of a wider mental health portfolio. Apprenticeship Opportunity If you do not already hold a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience in a relevant subject), RDaSH will offer this position alongside a Level 3 apprenticeship. The apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation, with approximately 20% of working hours dedicated to study. Successful completion leads to a nationally recognised qualification and enhances your career prospects within the health service. Key Responsibilities Provide support to service users experiencing a first episode of psychosis to promote recovery in the community. Work directly with service users on an individual and/or group basis. Assist and support care coordinators and lead professionals in providing treatment and support. Qualifications & Experience A Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent relevant experience is required, unless you enrol in the apprenticeship programme. Additional Information The Trust employs around 4,000 colleagues across mental health, physical health, learning disability and drug and alcohol services. We hold a monthly learning half‑day for staff and are committed to inclusive cultures. We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if applications are in excess.
