Teach Now is recruiting for a dedicated and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Hemel Hempstead. The Role Provide targeted speech and language support to students with identified needs. Work 1 : 1 and in small groups, helping learners to develop communication, confidence, and social understanding. Assist teachers and the SENCO in delivering tailored intervention plans. Support students within the classroom, ensuring they remain engaged and motivated. Help build a structured, positive learning environment that promotes independence. What We’re Looking For Experience in speech and language therapy or communication-focused interventions. Previous experience supporting secondary-aged students. SEN qualifications or relevant Level 2 / 3 TA certificates (beneficial but not essential). A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting diverse needs.
