Graduate Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities Assist the lead project manager in the administration of one or more projects (arranging and recording meetings, managing documentation, processing invoices, requesting purchase orders, etc.). Develop an understanding of project management processes. Attend project team meetings and other meetings at various locations as required to support each project. Prepare to support a number of projects (total number will be dependent on size and complexity). Assist the lead project manager in the delivery of reports as required for each project. Maintain communication with the supply chain as required to support the lead project manager. Work with the cost management team to prepare and monitor project budgets. Implement project tools, procedures, standards and templates. Travel may be required from time to time to support the lead project manager. Contribute to business development activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above preferred) in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline. Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of project management software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Asana, Jira) desirable. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative and ownership. Commercial awareness and an interest in the project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery. Willingness to work towards professional project management qualifications (e.g. APM, PRINCE2, PMP, Agile). Flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑paced, changing environment. Demonstrated interest in project management through academic studies, internships, or extracurricular activities.
