Project Director Location: Glasgow, Scotland Salary: £100,000 – £120,000 per annum Package: Car or car allowance, bonus, private healthcare, pension Working Pattern: 3 days a week on site / office, 2 days a week from home Job Summary Working for a Tier 1 contractor delivering Energy and Power Schemes across the Central belt, Scotland. The role is based in the Scottish division and involves leading and managing the larger sites released by the firm. You will work closely with pre‑construction, design consultancies, subcontractors and the client, driving the programme while ensuring high‑quality technical execution. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Supervise and oversee both direct teams and subcontractors on site. Review project plans and specifications. Work with the Commercial Manager to manage overall project finances, reviewing budgets to identify risks and opportunities. Manage internal stakeholders and client expectations. Report on project variations and risk mitigation on every project. Required Experience Formal qualification – HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering. Proven experience delivering a £10m+ civil engineering project as the principal on site. Full driving licence. Living in Scotland on a full‑time basis.
