Mobile Catering Assistant | Peripatetic | Rossendale, Blackburn, Burnley & Surrounding Areas Job at Lancashire County Council. Salary: £12.60 per hour Employment: Permanent, variable hours, 12.5 hours per week. Location: Rossendale, Blackburn, Burnley & surrounding areas. Term time only, Monday to Friday. International Sponsorship: This role is not open to international sponsorship. Requirements: Must be able to drive and own a car; must provide a business-use insured car; if unable to drive due to disability may be considered. Key Responsibilities: Prepare the dining area for service, including moving and setting up furniture and putting away. Assist in preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages. Clean all equipment and catering areas. Run units in the absence of a Unit Catering Supervisor (UCS). What We Are Looking For: Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative. Good customer care skills. Previous catering and food preparation experience would be essential. Running various kitchens in the absence of the unit manager. Working Hours/Days: Monday to Friday. Term time only. Essential car user. 12.5 hours per week, although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake and service needs.
