About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Technician to join our dedicated Design & Technology (D&T) team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting engaging, hands-on learning experiences for students.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare materials and equipment for practical lessonsAssist in setting up and clearing classroomsMaintain tools, equipment, and machinery in good working orderSupport teachers during practical sessions where requiredUphold health and safety standards at all timesProvide basic administrative supportSupervise students in workshops when appropriateIdeal CandidateOrganised, flexible, and hands-onSome experience working in a workshop or technical settingWillingness to learn and support new technologies (e.g., 3D printers, laser cutters)Practical knowledge of health and safety protocolsAble to work independently and as part of a teamFor further information please contact Brendan McDonald, Director of Technology email: email@example.comHours per week: 32.5 hoursSchedule: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm (inc 30 minutes Lunch Break)Term Time Only + Inset Days: 44.65 weeks per yearGrade: AAT Grade D Points 5 - 6Salary: £19,243 per annumWe celebrate diversity and welcome applications from all backgrounds and communities.
