Tower Cold Chain, as a Cold Chain Technologies company, supports the global pharmaceutical and life science industries delivering lifesaving temperature controlled shipments. The Finance Manager, EMEA will oversee multiple core processes critical to the Controllership group including the accounting for fixed assets, accruals and expenses, cash, intercompany eliminations and preparation of the Company's annual financial statements. Managing 2 senior accountants (or equivalent roles), the position will report to the International Controller and will be closely partnered with leaders of the Finance, IT, Human Resources, Manufacturing/Operations and Engineering functions. Responsibilities Responsible for timely and accurate period end financial reporting, included but not limited to: balance sheet reconciliations with proper supporting documentation Partner with the Operations Finance team to ensure timing of accruals are accounted for accurately Assist the Corporate Controller to develop and maintain a sustainable processes for all future leases accounting post-adoption Assist the International Controller with the budget/forecast of OpEx & COGS expenditures for the EMEA region; review and analyze variances in actual amounts compared to budget/forecast Develop robust and consistent procedures to improve account reconciliations across the Finance organization and regularly review key reconciliations across designated areas of responsibility Support International Controller on ensuring full compliance with statutory reporting filings, audits, and any local tax filings and regulations. Partner with the International Finance Controller to develop robust processes around the review, elimination, and cash settlement of intercompany transactions periodically Frequent interaction and report-outs to key stakeholders in Management including the Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Controller, Senior Director Global Supply Chain, Director of Operations Finance, Director of FP&A, VP of Human Resources and Director of IT Manage staff in accordance with organization's policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approves actions on human resources matters Special Requirements (License, Permit, Certification, Physical Limitations, etc...) Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and 5-8 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers. Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech. Regular sitting for extended periods of time. May require occasional travel. Requirements Knowledge of UK GAAP, U.S. GAAP/IFRS knowledge helpful. Experience using Epicor or similar global ERP. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of products required. Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
