Commercial Account Handler Jensten Nottingham, England, United Kingdom We’re now looking for a motivated Commercial Account Handler, to join the team here at the Jensten Group. You’ll be based at our Watnall office, and we offer hybrid working options. Reporting to the General Manager, the main purpose of the role is to focus on our General Commercial Insurance book of business—working mainly on renewals. Responsibilities To understand client’s business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance. Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business. To assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions. Negotiation of competitive terms with the product/service providers in order to satisfy client requirements. Handling invoicing of all premiums due including effective credit control, where necessary. To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA. About You Good general insurance background and knowledge – in Commercial Insurance (essential) Relevant qualifications (e.g. Cert CII) or working towards Great customer service skills Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance Worked in a similar role previously, with experience of working with Insurers and clients Able to use initiative and can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin Acturis systems knowledge & experience (ideally) Rewards & Benefits Competitive salary with an annual pay review and bonus scheme.
