Contributions to the team Troubleshoots, repairs, inspects and performs maintenance on customer aircraft. Performs and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required. How to thrive in this role Hold a UK CAA & EASA Part 66 Aircraft Technician License: B1, B2 or C. Be type‑rated on relevant Bombardier Business Aircraft types (e.g., Challenger 300, Challenger 600 and Global). Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Appendix I to Part‑66. Understand Part‑M, Part‑145 and any other relevant regulations. Have at least 6 months of actual relevant aircraft or component maintenance experience within any consecutive 2‑year period. Possess knowledge of human factors, performance and limitations. Know EWIS and CDCCL when relevant. Have experience working on at least one aircraft type for each license (sub)category within the last two years. Be current on all training requirements (recurrent/continuation training). Interpret and work with engineering drawings. Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, about individual tasks and aircraft status. Be highly proficient with standard tools, special tools and ground support equipment. Follow maintenance data, notify responsible functions of defects or mistakes requiring rectification to meet maintenance standards. Use information systems and possess computer skills.
