Outstanding opportunity for an Experienced Architect looking to work within Project Management to join a respected Surrey‑based architectural practice, taking a lead role in the delivery of high‑quality workplace fit‑out projects across Central London with some of the UK's leading contractors.

As part of their continued growth and expanding project portfolio, the practice is seeking an experienced Architect to oversee on‑site delivery for a range of office fit‑out schemes. This is a full‑time permanent position offering the chance to work closely with major industry fit‑out contractors.

You will play a pivotal role in coordinating design information, managing project workflows, and ensuring smooth delivery from pre‑construction through to completion. The role requires a confident communicator who can operate autonomously on site while also collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, This role will see you managing projects throughout delivery and being a key person in combining Architecture with Project management

The ideal Candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

Strong background in workplace fit‑out projects (minimum 5 years).
Experience working on site throughout Central London (desirable)
Ability to manage design coordination, technical delivery, and project workflows.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with confidence working directly with contractors and clients.
Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple project demands.
Comfortable working independently on site while also supporting wider project teams.Required qualifications and experience:

Extensive experience workplace fit‑out environments.
Previous experience in an architectural design management or project management capacity.
Strong technical understanding of construction processes and fit‑out delivery.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
Ability to produce, review, and coordinate technical information to a high standard.This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward‑thinking architectural practice where you will take ownership of significant workplace projects and work closely with leading contractors in the fit‑out sector. A competitive salary likely to be in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with experience.
