Sales Administrator – 12 Month Maternity Cover (Glasgow) Location: Glasgow, Cardonald G51 4GA (weekly travel to Edinburgh/Volvo Trucks Broxburn) Salary: Up to £26,000 + Bonus Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am–5:00 pm (45‑minute lunch) – 37.5 hour week Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence required We are seeking a Sales Administrator who enjoys working with detail and supporting a busy retail sales team. In this role, you will ensure that all aspects of vehicle sales administration are handled with precision and professionalism, from processing customer orders to preparing vehicles for delivery, completing registration and invoicing. Qualifications A full and valid UK driving licence Knowledge of sales processes and experience handling large customer accounts Confidence using MS Office; practical Excel skills (spreadsheets, filters, basic formulas) Experience using Salesforce (advantageous) Experience with vehicle registration and invoicing Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Positive team‑focused attitude Responsibilities Process and manage new vehicle orders within internal systems Update, amend orders and track progress until delivery Coordinate with suppliers to book required work Manage purchase orders for each deal Keep customers updated on delivery timelines & highlight risks Complete vehicle registration, invoicing and monitor GP variance Work with customers on truck orders and liaise with finance companies regarding payments Coordinate with vehicle movement partners when needed Next Steps You will work closely with the Truck Sales Executive based in Broxburn and a team of experienced Sales Administrators.
