HGV Class 2 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Coalville, Leicestershire .If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay , ongoing work , and the potential to secure a permanent position within a reputable and supportive business.Shifts: • 5 days out of 7 • 05:00 starts – finish times may vary depending on deliveries Rates of Pay: • £15.75 per hour Benefits: • Excellent hourly rates • Consistent, ongoing work • Weekly pay • Full training provided • Immediate starts available • Supportive working environment Day-to-Day Duties: • Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles • Carry out multi-drop deliveries of water stock, involving handball and heavy lifting • Deliver fresh produce and chilled goods to well-known restaurants and hospitality venues • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Secure all loads correctly to ensure safe transportation • Follow UK traffic laws and working time regulations • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers • Report vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly • Complete 4–6 drops per day on average Essential Skills: • Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence • Minimum of six months' experience driving Category C vehicles • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements) • Good level of spoken and written English • Excellent punctuality and reliability • Sound understanding of road transport laws and driver hours regulations • Strong teamwork and communication skills Desirable Experience: • Previous experience driving commercial vehicles • Multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided: • Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply Today: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver , apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.d02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
